Labs2 Group AB will be utilizing
Net Insight's Nimbra™ platform to build a Scandinavian IPTV triple-play network. The announcement came today. The new network will allow Labs2 to permit carries to provide triple play services such as TV, HDTV, Video-on-Demand, telephone and data services.
The press release states that TV and video services are becoming a necessary part of the services offered by operators and these triple play services offer new revenue-generating opportunities.

"Labs2 has chosen the same platform that is used by leading broadcasters and media network operators internationally, which is a guarantee of quality for Labs2's customers."
"We are very satisfied with the solution that offers a combination of guaranteed high quality of service and low operating costs," said Jonas Birgersson, CEO and founder of Labs2. "It gives us the possibility to offer our customers very competitive services."
