Narrowstep, the TV on the Internet Company, will today launch
www.Glasgow.tv the world's first scheduled 24/7 city broadband television channel at the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau in Scotland.

Narrowstep's CEO, Iolo Jones, said," We're delighted to launch Glasgow.tv on Narrowstep's operating system, used to power our new CityTV service. Glasgow is a great city to utilise our services and show that broadband TV channels are an effective way of showcasing properties and generating revenue at the same time."
Glasgow City Councillor, Alex Mosson commented, "Having our own scheduled TV channel is the perfect way to bring our city to life and offer people around the world a chance to see it first hand. It acts as a good advertising tool, is state-of-the-art technology and we are proud that we are the first city to do this."
Narrowstep's channels offer 24 hour 7 day a week viewing with the option of scheduled programs, highlights, video on demand and live events to anyone in the world with a broadband connection. Channels can be supported by advertising, e-commerce, PPV, subscription and microcharging.
