SmartVideo Technologies, announced that it has signed a national Wi-Fi distribution agreement with
HotPoint Wireless, Inc. one of the country's premier operators of wireless communications to hotels, restaurants, retail, residential, convention centers, hospitals, and airports. HotPoint provides a comprehensive solution to wireless communications offering the right solution for any given location with state-of-the-art equipment and complete turn-key service. Currently HotPoint is operating wireless networks in over 550 locations nationwide and nearly 20 international sites. In addition, HotPoint is deploying Wi-Fi enabled kiosks in diversified groups of high traffic locations.
High-speed Internet access is no longer optional for major hotel chains, apartment and condominium complexes and commercial buildings. In order to remain competitive and increase occupancy rates facilities must make Internet access readily available. HotPoint recognized a market niche and has developed a network to address the rapidly expanding Wi-Fi market.
