DAVE Networks announces the public beta release of its revolutionary
DAVE.TV Internet broadcasting service, now available for download at
www.dave.tv. DAVE.TV (Distributed Audio Video Entertainment Television or DAVE TV) consolidates channels of video entertainment from sources around the world into a service that delivers them to their PC, TV, mobile and/or portable device. DAVE.TV brings consumers to the next generation of media enjoyment through the delivery of worldwide, on-demand entertainment media.
DAVE.TV takes television and entertainment delivery into the new digital era and places Internet Broadcasting in the hands of the consumer using the free DAVE Media Center (DMC) software. DMC is an intuitive and easy-to-use PC application allowing consumers to personalize how-what-where-when they want their digital entertainment delivered including videos, music, movies, photographs and much more.
"Using the power and flexibility of the Internet, DAVE.TV delivers on-demand distribution to a consumer's digital devices via Broadband-cable, DSL, or high-speed Wireless connections," says Kenneth O. Lipscomb, Chairman and Founder of DAVE Networks. "With DAVE.TV, you get the advantage of bringing your favorite video, music, photo selections, etc. to your favorite digital devices."
DAVE.TV provides consumers with the added benefit of customizing their programming through an easy-to-use interface, in the comfort of their own home. DAVE.TV is truly taking consumers to the next level of access to media and entertainment venues. Imagine customizing not only music and video play lists, but being able to receive digital content from all over the world to the digital medium of their choice. In the segmented world of Internet broadcasting, DAVE.TV brings it all together for consumers.
DAVE.TV also offers tremendous opportunities to media-makers and content-publishers through the ability to broadcast their content to consumers worldwide simultaneously. The system provides creative publishing with unlimited boundaries and opportunities to reach new audiences. To that end, DAVE.TV's "Content Exchange" aims to become an economically frictionless exchange where content providers can post their content for consumption, while having full control of rights management, billing, pricing and advertising to create a virtual broadcast ecosystem. This is in stark contrast to traditional broadcasting, where control of distribution defines the economic relationship.
