Eagle Broadband, Inc. announced that the company has received a $1.6 million order for Eagle's MediaPro IP set-top boxes and Minerva middleware from AllAccess Technologies to power their multi-state rollout of advanced video and entertainment services using Eagle's IPTVComplete video solution.
The order includes a mix of Eagle's MediaPro IP5000 standard and high-definition set-top boxes with personal video recorder (PVR) technology and compact, low-cost IP3000SD, standard-definition models, Minerva's iTV Manager middleware as well as advanced encryption and conditional access software. AllAccess will use Eagle's set-top technology with their IPTVComplete video solution to provide a full range of basic, premium and high-definition programming, video-on-demand and pay-per-view services delivered over AllAccess' state-of-the-art, fiber broadband networks to high-end multiple-dwelling units (MDUs) and master planned communities in a number of high-growth markets including Florida, Nevada, Texas, New York and New Jersey. This first MediaPro set-top box order will be used for AllAccess' IPTV rollout in Miami.
