Netopia president and CEO Alan Lefkof will speak on the evolving IPTV market at the TelcoTV Conference and Expo. Taking place Tuesday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 10 at the San Diego Convention Center, TelcoTV gathers key telecom professionals to discuss IPTV opportunities in the competition with cable and satellite companies.
In a panel entitled "The IPTV Competitive Landscape," Lefkof will outline differentiating strategies for telcos seeking to edge ahead of competing operators as they enter the video market. The session will take place on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 9:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Netopia will also showcase its MiAVo triple play gateways and the Netopia Broadband Server (NBBS), its TR-069 device management and support software platform, at the TelcoTV Conference and Expo. The NBBS platform is designed for service providers deploying value-added triple play broadband services. Recently selected by BellSouth for mass deployment across all TR-069-enabled devices, the NBBS software solution enables carriers from small IOCs to the regional Bells to remotely manage and support TR-069-compliant broadband modems, routers, and gateways, simplifying the provisioning and delivery of broadband services, in addition to increasing revenues and reducing operational costs.
Netopia staff will be available in booth No. 809 to answer questions and demonstrate the NBBS platform starting Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 11:30 a.m.
