KyLinTV announced the launch
of 500 hours of new content, introducing another popular Chinese program to
its growing list of offerings. The debut of "Chinese Law and Society" brings
one of the most highly rated reality shows from China to KyLinTV subscribers
in North America.
Through the use of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), KyLinTV brings
broadcast channels from China's CCTV, the latest releases of movies, dramas
and other entertainment in real time. KyLinTV's patent pending video CODEC
and streaming technology delivers high quality video to the television using
existing Home DSL or Cable broadband.
Told through the perspective of reality programming, Chinese Law and
Society is able to give a complete picture of how legal reforms are impacting
Chinese daily life. These stories are real profiles of some of the most
recognized and sensational cases of corruption and criminal activities
happening across China. These influential programs document recent changes in
the Chinese legal system, telling the highly emotional stories of some of the
most shocking cases of bribery, counterfeiting, government corruption,
homicide, kidnapping, real estate scams and other headlines.
"Reality programming is very popular in China and this series will be a
big hit with KyLinTV subcribers. KyLinTV is bringing programs from China to
North America that you cannot get any other way. All of my customers are very
enthusiastic about the service and the continuing list of new programs," said
Bobby Chou, General Manager of the WJ Bookstore, a certified KyLinTV
distributor located in New York.
Future programming will offer practical advice to navigate the changing
legal system in China and will be of particular interest to students who wish
to enter study abroad programs in China. Upcoming topics will include, how to
apply for a Chinese green card, favoritism policies for returning overseas
students, issues faced by females studying in China, and short cuts to
applying for Beijing residency among others. Each month, 20 new titles of
Chinese Law and Society will be added to the KyLinTV menu of On-Demand
content.
"The addition of Chinese Law and Society to KyLinTV is a part of our
strategic initiative to expand our programming and to reach a wider audience,"
stated Jacob Sung, Director of Sales and Marketing for KyLinTV. "We will
continue to identify and offer the latest and most popular television and
films from China, and bring them to Chinese homes in North America."
