On2 Technologies, Inc. today announced the debut of On2 TrueMobile Video, a new mobile video streaming solution based on the Company's proven VP7 video compression technology, at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
Exhibiting in the Symbian stand B20 (Hall 8) in the Fira de Barcelona Convention Center, the Company will demonstrate On2 TrueMobile Video for the first time during the mobile industry's premier international event. On2 will highlight practical applications developed using On2 TrueMobile Video, including Video on Demand (VOD) and live streaming over 2.5G and 3G mobile networks. Live TV and VOD content will be provided by CTTNet, a leading Chinese mobile TV service provider, On2 TrueMobile Video customer and mobile application R&D partner. CTTNet has taken the lead in developing TrueMobile- based applications and services in China, currently the world's largest mobile phone market.

On2 TrueMobile Video is designed to enable mobile application developers, solution providers, wireless handset manufacturers and carriers to create mobile video applications. In addition to VOD and live streaming applications, On2 TrueMobile Video is ideal for creating wireless video applications in mobile television, video conferencing, video ring tones and mobile enterprise applications for delivery on 2.5G, 3G and WLAN networks.
