Telecommunications Magazine announce TELECOM U, an executive roundtable series at GLOBALCOMM 2006, taking place June 5-8 at McCormick Place in Chicago. TELECOM U will be held in the heart of GLOBALCOMM 2006--the exhibit floor--and is free of charge to all GLOBALCOMM 2006 attendees.
TELECOM U is a series of technology and business case discussions about the most-pressing topics facing service providers today: IMS, Services over IP, IPTV, IP MPLS, Pseudowires, Carrier Ethernet, Wireless Data and more. Executives from leading service providers, vendors and industry analyst firms will discuss deployment strategies and timelines, business case rationale, service differentiation, bandwidth optimization, back office solutions, and strategies for managing the customer experience.
"We're pleased to team with Telecommunications Magazine as it brings its unique mix of technology and telecom business content to GLOBALCOMM attendees via TELECOM U," said TIA President Matthew J. Flanigan. "Service providers will find all they need to advance their business at GLOBALCOMM with compelling Telecom U sessions, the latest technologies on display, a world class speaker program and other valuable educational opportunities."
TELECOM U programming will kick off later this month with the TELECOM U Webcast Series, presented by Telecommunications and TIA. A full schedule of topics and sponsorship opportunities can be found at www.telecommagazine/media.
"Telecommunications magazine is thrilled to be working with TIA on such a dynamic educational product as TELECOM U," says Sue O'Keefe, publisher of Telecommunications. "As the Global Authority for the Business of Telecom, Telecommunications is very excited to be part of a show that is embracing the global nature of the telecom industry."
