Continental Vista Broadcasting Group Inc. has signed an exclusive five year deal to create an IPTV network for the
Missouri School Boards' Association. Continental Vista's robust system will allow MSBA to deliver a wide array of content across a variety of disciplines to students, educators, athletes, their families, and the general public. Continental Vista's innovative broadband solution has been enabling viewers to access both live broadcasts and on-demand video programming through one interactive media player for more than three years.
"We are thrilled to be launching this amazing network for the Missouri School Boards' Association," said Greg Demetriades, CEO of Continental Vista. "The opportunity for MSBA to leverage limitless permutations of content will prove to be an invaluable tool for them and a forward-thinking model for all educational organizations."
MSBA is comprised of the teams and school board members who establish policy and provide direction at the local, state and national levels, thereby advancing excellence in public education through school board leadership. MSBA has dubbed their new network the Education Solutions Global Network, or ESGN.
"We are thrilled to be working with Continental Vista on this project," said Dr. Carter D. Ward, Executive Director of MSBA. "We look forward to producing quality live and archived programming for school boards, professional educators, and the general public. We believe ESGN will become a primary source of educational programs to meet the needs of a variety of audiences."
MSBA's broadcasts will include live and on-demand programming through free, pay-per-view and subscription models. With the freedom to broadcast everything from online classes to sporting events and artistic series to outreach programs, the Continental Vista system will enable MSBA to become a powerhouse of interactivity.
The first broadcast, March 3, features renowned astrobiologist Dr. Jonathan Trent and Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Zooquarium in Springfield, Missouri.
