The test suite can be configured with 1, 2, 10 and 20 GigE IneoQuest Geminus units and works by generating multiple controlled video streams through an IP switch while simultaneously analyzing the real-time delivery of the video streams.
The Media Delivery Index (MDI) is an open specification for measuring IP Video transport quality. The MDI is described in RFC 4445.
