NS8 Corporation's entertainment network division,
iWave Interactive Systems, has entered into a Licensing Agreement with
ReelTime Media Ltd. to provide IP Television and PC interactive on demand systems for the Australian market. In addition to receiving license fees for an initial 400,000 consumers for both IP Television and PC Interactive, iWave will share in the lucrative television and PC advertising revenues derived from the ReelTime service.
The current Australian market has a broadband population of approximately 2,850,000 with an adoption rate of more than 20,000 customers a week. ReelTime is expected to rollout their services starting in July 2006, following delivery by iWave, and expect rapid adoption by its existing commercial service providers.
John Karantzis, Managing Director of ReelTime - "We have explored several other solution providers and found iWave to be the most consumer appealing and commercially flexible system to handle our media assets and service our customers. We are in the middle of a very dynamic evolution in this digital industry and the solution that has the capability of rapidly reaching out to a consumer and capture its attention through appeal and simplicity will win."
Carl Segal, Executive Vice President of NS8 - "ReelTime has the definite expertise and industry backing to become a significant leader in the Australian market within a short period of time. We are pleased to have been selected as their commercial technology provider for their digital entertainment strategy."
