As one could have guessed, if Sling Media is not going to put out some sort of PVR for the Slingbox, then someone else surely will.

Thus, the company Applian Technologies has created Replay SlingCorder, which allows you to capture and record video being streamed from your Slingbox. The software records at a 320x240 resolution and saves the content as Windows Media files.

Replay SlingCorder also includes the ability to schedule a recording. You simply enter the duration you want to record, optionally enter the channel number, and tell Replay SlingCorder whether to start now or in the future. While not being the most robust system, it is a step in the right direction for all those wanting to record Slingbox streamed media.
