Exterity, a specialist in network audio-visual (AV), has signed a systems integrator deal with
Lincor Solutions, a provider of hospital bedside solutions. As part of the agreement, Lincor will integrate Exterity’s IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) equipment into its MEDIVista clinical services and patient entertainment system to deliver digital television and radio services to patient bedsides. Lincor and Exterity will target hospital projects around the world.
"This partnership with Exterity allows Lincor to provide high-quality digital TV and radio to patient bedsides to improve their hospital visit experience,” commented Richard Cooke, Chief Executive, Lincor Solutions. "Through this agreement we can deliver a truly converged digital TV solution over IP to our existing and future client base, enabling them to have access to a broader range of services at the patient bedside."
"We have been working very successfully with Lincor for over 18 months supporting the UK patient power licensee Premier TeleSolutions," commented Colin Farquhar, Chief Executive, Exterity. "The move to Lincor becoming an authorised Exterity Systems Integrator will allow Exterity to provide its IPTV equipment into a wider range of hospital patient projects both in the UK and internationally."
