ViewNow today announced a distribution agreement to deliver an array of ViewNow video-on-demand (VOD) content as part of the AT&T U-verseSM TV programming.
Under the agreement, AT&T U-verse TV customers will have access to ViewNow on-demand programming, including content from major motion picture studios and Subscription on Demand and Free on Demand programming.

AT&T U-verse TV is delivered by Project Lightspeed, the company's initiative to expand the fiber-optics network deeper into neighborhoods to deliver U-verse TV, AT&T Yahoo!® High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled and, in the future, Voice over IP services. Through its subsidiaries, AT&T expects to reach nearly 19 million households by the end of 2008 as part of its initial deployment, using fiber-to-the-node (FTTN) and fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) technologies.
ViewNow is a leading IPTV and VOD content aggregator, with distribution rights from major motion picture studios as well as many independent studios. ViewNow licenses, encodes and distributes content from Warner Bros, New Line Cinema, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, NBC/Universal, DreamWorks, Buena Vista/Disney and many other independent studios in MPEG 2, MPEG 4 (H.264) and VC1 formats.
