NBC has released the results of a
new case study that examines the results of delivering "webisodes" of their hit TV show, "The Office", online.
Here are some of the results:
- The Office webisodes delivered over 1.3 million page views in the first five days
- Weekly page views have soared to an average of 1.4 million, compared to 450,000 during non-original episodes
- Video streams are averaging 600,000 per week - ten times more than during repeat episodes
- Average time spent on the office site has increased to 7 minutes
