The new site combines content and videos from celebrity chefs, a searchable recipe database and personalization features, as well as a built-in user community around the topic of food. Yahoo! Food is the company's latest example of developing a unique user experience through the combination of social media tools and high-quality licensed, original and video content that, in turn, creates additional marketing opportunities for advertisers.

Yahoo! has created a sleek user interface, with powerful search tools and thoughtfully integrated editorial features, making it a one-stop food destination. Yahoo!'s search technology indexes thousands of recipes, which is enhanced through a unique technology partnership with Allrecipes.com. Users can search by ingredient, cuisine, special days, taste or mealtimes. Additionally, rich personalization and social media tools enable users to rate, review and share recipes online. Yahoo! Food also features a "MY FOOD" module on every page to help users easily save and retrieve recently reviewed articles, recipes and searches.
