Optical Entertainment Network (OEN) announced that it has signed an IPTV carriage agreement with Southern Entertainment Television (TheSET). Through this agreement OEN's FISION service will offer its subscribers the following four channels: Southern Gospel Music, Bluegrass Music, Classic Black Gospel Music and Classic Country Music.

"We are very excited to debut our channel with OEN in Houston", said Harold Brown, President Southern Entertainment Television. "FISION is the first cable channel to carry Southern Entertainment Television and our only outlet in Houston. OEN's FTTH network empowers us to go head to head with the larger networks."

Southern Entertainment Television (TheSET) provides the largest consolidated library of gospel music in the world and created the first ever Classic Black Gospel Channel.

"We don't preach, teach or solicit money," Mr. Brown added. "We are a for profit operation earning revenue from our advertising to our demographic of people aged 33 and over. We look forward to a big success in Houston where there are so many churches with who members will enjoy our music. Our production company is also based in Houston."

OEN's FISION is the first and only integrated service for IPTV, Internet, Voic e, Video-On-Demand (VOD) and other broadband applications, designed specifically to take advantage of the benefits of FTTH technology and the only service to make all of its content available for distribution to other communities in the US. OEN has acquired programming agreements for IPTV distribution from popular cable television networks and will deliver 400 television channels, including over 50 channels of High Definition Television (HDTV) to subscribers.

In addition to featuring popular television networks, FISION's programming line-up showcases new and innovative programming such as NFL Network, The Anime Network, MTV Urge, HDNet, HBO HD, The Africa Channel, Discovery and Discovery Health in addition to offering channels in 13 foreign languages. FISION will also deliver over 50 channels of Hispanic TV programming.
