Netris and Central Telegraph, a Russian telecommunications company, announced a successful IPSoft iVision IPTV Middleware deployment as a core platform for digital television service delivery for Central Telegraph' United Multiservice Network (QWERTY network) subscribers. According to a long-term agreement, Netris has deployed its platform for interactive service delivery, IPSoft iVision IPTV Middleware, and will provide to Central Telegraph ongoing support and future development services.
IPSoft iVision IPTV Middleware is a carrier-class platform to enable interactive video (IPTV, VoD, PVR, etc.), communication (voice, video, instant messaging, etc.), and interactive multimedia services (games, ads, etc.) for IPTV networks. This efficient, reliable and flexible platform is built with the use of open standards and can be easily integrated with any VoD servers, OCSS/BSS systems and IP STBs. Today the majority of IPTV deployments in Russia are using IPSoft iVision IPTV Middleware as a core element of their IPTV network solutions.
Central Telegraph IPTV service subscribers now have an access to more than 50 digital TV channels with high quality video and audio. Shortly, Central Telegraph will introduce to its subscribers true interactive television, QWERTY.TV, with an access to wide range of additional interactive IPTV services like VoD ("videoteka" service), digital radio, Internet access over TV, games, e-mail access over TV, information services, etc.
