Northport AB is to provide
Salaten Bredband AS with its ModulutionT Platform, that will be used to manage Salten Bredbands Interactive TV services. Northports ModulutionT platform will replace Salten Bredbands current environment that has been in operation since 2003.

Northports software provides Salten Bredband with a platform for future interactive services and enhances the existing IPTV service that today consist of TV Channels from Fast TV, Video On Demand from SF Anytime and TV on Demand from TV 2 Norway. The service is currently used by 3000 subscribers.
"The fact that Northport is the leading provider of open access IPTV environments in the Nordic region means that the company understands how we operate, the company is able to support our needs when it comes to interactive TV Services", says Frank Nyrud, system Manager, Salten Bredband AS, "An additional and important advantage when choosing Northport is that ModulutionT is that it enables us to deliver services in multiple networks from one environment. This means that each local network can localize it's own behaviour when it comes to look & feel and local services. This enables the end customer to use a service from one or more service providers in the same IPTV STB which gives us a unique edge".
