Ocean Blue Software has introduced an arcade games pack for its Freeview set-top box software. The company has integrated Tetris, Snake & Breakout into its system, operated via a normal TV remote control. The arcade games package is available to set-top box manufacturers to add extra value to Freeview boxes, and Ocean Blue is in discussions with a number of CE vendors and manufacturers, with a view to availability in the shops by Christmas.
Ocean Blue's arcade package has been written in the ‘C’ programming language, enabling portability across different Freeview hardware & software products.
The Arcadia software is written in C language and has been primarily designed to work on STB and Digital TV’s. It can be bought as a standalone product as is portable to may operating systems and chip sets.

- Voyager MHEG-5 & DSM-CC, the standard mandated middleware solution for Freeview digital TV receivers. Voyager is the result of more than 10 man-year development project and is fully tested and in production.. The MHEG-5 & DSM-CC software was developed in the standard C programming language and is thus portable to many different operating systems and hardware computing platforms.
- Sunrise DVB is a suite of integrated software products, which provides all the functionality for receiving both analogue and digital video & audio on digital set top boxes and televisions.
- Surfsoft PVR (a Freeview Playback standard version is available) software is a content management system that has been saved on a hard disk-based digital TV device. Surfsoft’s many features and functions include time shift, trick modes, search, retrieive, save, record, timed recording and pause.
