Team Lightbulb has provided details for its upcoming one-day course on IPTV. Called
Telecom Crash Course: Exploring the IPTV Universe, the conference is designed to provide financial and technical professionals an overview of the issues involved in investing and deploying IPTV services. The conference will be held in New York City on October 25, 2007.
The course will be led by communications guru Steven Shepard, who has more than 20 years' experience consulting on and writing for the telecom market. Shepard was an early proponent of telecommunications convergence and video applications, including IPTV. He will provide insights on:
- Investment and market opportunities;
- Hot technologies and applications;
- Leading IPTV deployments from across the globe;
- The technologies and services that comprise the IPTV eco-system.
This conference builds on Team Lightbulb's highly successful IPTV conference earlier this year at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) trade show in Las Vegas, and previews Telecom2008 to be held at the NAB Show in Las Vegas in April, 2008.
"This one-day conference offers an excellent opportunity for financial analysts and researchers, content and service providers, and others who need to gain a better understanding of the business and technical issues surrounding IPTV," said John Abel, Partner at Team Lightbulb.
