AT&T U-verse IPTV and Internet services are now available to more than 150,000 living units in and around the Austin area. Since introducing U-verse IPTV services in Austin in November 2007, AT&T has made the service available to more Central Texas customers on an ongoing basis. U-verse IPTV is offered in parts of several communities, including Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Sunset Valley, and West Lake Hills. There are plans to continue reaching even more customers.
AT&T and Vidorra Condominiums Connect Residents to U-verse Services
AT&T and Vidorra Condominiums agree to bring U-verse IPTV and high speed Internet services to Vidorra residents. The agreement with Vidorra is part of the AT&T Connected Communities program, a strategic marketing initiative between AT&T and regional or national single-family builders, developers, real estate investment trusts, apartment ownership and management groups, and homeowners' associations to provide next-generation communications and entertainment solutions to residents and home buyers.
Vidorra Condominiums, a high-rise development currently under construction in downtown San Antonio, will connect residents to AT&T's advanced fiber-optic network. The AT&T Connected Communities agreement will enable AT&T to make its 100 percent IPTV, high speed Internet and voice services available to Vidorra residents. AT&T will also provide wireless Internet service in Vidorra meeting rooms, pool and lounge areas and the 20th-floor sky room.
