AT&T U-verse IPTV and Internet services are now available to more than 300,000 living units in parts of several communities throughout Indiana. Since introducing U-verse IPTV to Indiana in December 2006, AT&T has made the service available in parts of many Indiana communities, including Anderson, Bloomington, Indianapolis, Kokomo and Muncie. The service is also available in parts of Lake County, including Gary, Griffith, Merrillville, Highland, Crown Point, Hammond, Schererville and Dyer. There are plans to reach even more Indiana communities.
Gov. Mitch Daniels signed the telecom and video reform law (HEA 1279) into effect in 2006. The legislation was championed by Sen. Hershman and Rep. Mike Murphy. Since passage of the bill, telecom and cable companies around the state have invested more than $500 million in delivering entertainment and communications services across the state.
AT&T is the only national provider to offer a 100 percent IPTV service, making AT&T U-verse IPTV one of the most advanced television offerings available anywhere.
