AT&T U-verse IPTV and Internet services are now available to more than 200,000 living units in and around the Milwaukee, Racine and Sheboygan areas. AT&T introduced U-verse IPTV in Wisconsin in February 2007 and continues to make the service available to more southeastern Wisconsin customers.
The growth of U-verse IPTV and the passage of the Wisconsin Video Choice Act has resulted in the creation of hundreds of new AT&T jobs in Wisconsin. The company is currently seeking to fill 200 premises technician positions across the state, including openings in the northeast Wisconsin and south central Wisconsin areas. These positions are responsible for the installation and customer care of U-verse service. Additional information about the job opportunities, including an online application, is available at AT&T's career site located at

The continued expansion of U-verse IPTV and the need for Wisconsin employees to service these customers is in part the result of state legislation passed in December 2007 that encouraged video competition. The Wisconsin Video Choice Act, passed overwhelmingly by the Legislature and signed by Gov. Jim Doyle, created a statewide video franchising process that is bringing real video choice to more Wisconsin consumers.
AT&T is the only national provider to offer a 100 percent IPTV service, making AT&T U-verse IPTV one of the most advanced television offerings available anywhere. AT&T is deploying next-generation video services, including AT&T U-verse IPTV, as part of its mission to connect people with their world, everywhere they live and work, and do it better than anyone else.
