TVN Entertainment announces a long-term agreement with IP-PRIME in which TVN will provide its comprehensive suite of VOD content and asset management services as part of
IP-PRIME's service solution.
The deal allows IP-PRIME operators full access to TVN's comprehensive on-demand products and services including: ADONISS the Emmy-nominated asset management system; iPRI an advanced interactive tool that allows programmers to dynamically update VOD metadata before, during, and after asset distribution to VOD servers and TVNow the fast turn around service that converts live programming into on-demand content, which is then made available to viewers within hours of the event. TVN offers programs from every content category, including all Studios and Event providers, hundreds of Broadcast and Cable Network VOD packages, and VOD-exclusive channels, like the Karaoke Channel, RipeTV and Research Channel.
TVN's integrated solution -- including the platform, complete content offering and interactive tools which allow for dynamic modifications (including advertising) has been the standard in VOD for all MPEG 2 Cable, DBS and Telco systems. Effective immediately, TVN has incorporated its highly successful model to the MPEG 4 (H.264) environment and bolted its solution into the IP-PRIME platform, which makes launching both linear and VOD both cost effective and seamless.
Now serving consumers throughout North America, IP-PRIME is a complete turnkey IPTV solution that telecom carriers, cable operators, and private networks can use today to provide their subscribers with content that they demand including 45 channels of HD plus another 260 SD channels. Focused on high quality television, IP-PRIME offers a customizable programming lineup that can be deployed quickly and efficiently to their subscribers.
IP-PRIME minimizes the risks associated with a complex technical integration by simplifying program acquisition challenges and lowering operators' financial risks for launching a TV service. In addition to being fully customizable to suit the specific needs of its operators, IP-PRIME protects customers' brands by allowing the television service to be marketed and sold under each operator's own brand.
