TV Worldwide is expanding its existing facility near Washington, D.C. to create the largest Internet TV Studio in the U.S. The state-of-the-art facility will support TV Worldwide's growing network of Internet TV Channels and programming and will open with a celebratory reception on October 30 to include a live webcast jazz concert featuring rock-legend and TV Worldwide board member J. Geils, who will perform with the Gerry Beaudoin Trio.
"We're excited about this new facility launch, as we expand to meet the needs of the rapidly growing Internet TV sector, a real bright spot in the current global financial picture," commented Dave Gardy, Chairman and CEO of TV Worldwide. "It's clear from the strategic interest expressed to us by many organizations, that Internet TV has reached a tipping point, offering today's proverbial 'killer application' to help professionals in associations, enterprise and government overcome current budget shortfalls with robust, efficient marketing, communications and training solutions. We're accelerating the creation of Internet TV channels to serve professionals in laser-focused target audiences in what looks to be a gold rush for each lucrative niche sector demographic, and this new studio is a key to our channel growth plans.
As a testimonial to TV Worldwide's continuing commitment to create programming for military veterans through its Internet TV channel targeted to that audience,
USVets.TV, the new studio will be dedicated in honor of U.S. veterans and named TV Worldwide's "U.S. Veterans Studio."
