KyLinTV announces the addition of Malaysia's Jia Yu Channel and Asia Travel TV from Taiwan to its IPTV platform, still another move aimed at meeting the increasingly diversified programming demands of the overseas Chinese community. Both Mandarin and Cantonese speaking viewers will now be able to enjoy the fine programs offered by the two channels.
This is the first time that the two channels are available in North America.
Jia Yu, a leading channel in Malaysia, was launched in 2004. Created by Cosmos Discovery, its 24-hour Mandarin and Cantonese programming features the best in Asian entertainment for overseas Chinese audiences. Since its debut on PCCW's NOW-TV in Hong Kong, the channel has shown its strong potential, with a footprint that already includes North America. Jia Yu showcases a wide range of genres, from news to trend-setting entertainment news, exclusive interviews to engaging lifestyle programs. Signature programs include Asian New Force, 630 News and Focus Today. Viewers also have access to Malaysia's big-budget blockbuster, "Life or Something Like It," the award-winning animation, "The Witty Family," and Jia Yu's own animated series, "The Crimson Sword."
Also established in 2004, Asia Travel TV aims to be the top travel channel in Chinese. Convinced that travel info is a priority need in today's world, it offers a range of well-crafted travel programs with comprehensive, reliable and interesting information. Asia Travel TV targets residents of Asia and Australia.
