Verimatrix and CSI Digital announce GCI has selected D-Video! for its end-to-end IPTV solution. CSI Digital's D-Video! has been integrated with the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System for IPTV to provide GCI a studio- and broadcaster-approved IPTV video package solution.

D-Video! is an IPTV wholesale video package that enables network operators a simple, quick and cost-effective method of upgrading their existing video plant and/or realizing a rapid, more effective way to enter new markets. CSI Digital leverages a worldwide satellite infrastructure, content, hardware and software licensing relationships to provide wholesale video. Verimatrix's VCAS for IPTV 2.3 is the only content security solution that features end-to-end encryption specifically for this emerging IPTV business model. It can support any combination of centralized or distributed subscriber management, including mixes of middleware systems and STB's to meet specific local needs of its IPTV retailer community. Power & Tel introduced GCI to CSI Digital because its IPTV platform allows service providers to customize system components to meet their requirements. GCI has selected Minerva's middleware and STBs from ADB for its new IPTV service, scheduled to launch in January 2009, which will be delivered through GCI's newly upgraded fiber-to-the-home network.
