Adobe introduced the
Adobe Scene7 eVideo Streaming Solution, a new addition to the Scene7 hosted rich media publishing platform. The new offering leverages ubiquitous Adobe Flash Platform technologies, enabling users to easily upload, transcode, edit, manage and stream content on the Web. Designed for eCommerce and multi-channel marketing companies, the new Adobe Scene7 eVideo Streaming Solution is ideal for producing online product demonstrations, advertising, training and more. It will be available as part of Scene7 Enterprise Unlimited Edition or as an add-on module to the standard Scene7 Enterprise Edition.
The Adobe Scene7 eVideo Streaming Solution features a browser-based user interface designed to be simple enough for even non-technical video publishers, so that companies that lack in-house expertise can still meet the growing customer demands for online video. In addition, Adobe Scene7 eVideo Streaming enables users to cost-effectively upload videos in the most popular formats and automatically transcode them to open formats compatible with the Flash Player (FLV, F4V) for delivery to any channel. As an end-to-end solution Scene7 eVideo Streaming automates what is usually a complex process and eliminates the need for companies to use multiple third-party products which often results in compromised quality control, production schedule delays and higher than expected costs.
Adobe Scene7 eVideo Streaming leverages Adobe technologies including Adobe Flash Media Encoding Server, Adobe Flash Media Server, Adobe Premiere Express, and Adobe Flex for optimal performance and scalability worldwide.
Adobe Scene7 eVideo Streaming is available January 31, 2009 in English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese.
