Setanta Sports has partnered with Swarmcast to deliver Setanta's new online video offering, Setanta-i, bringing sports fans both live and on-demand video of Setanta programming, including the prestigious English Premier League.

The Setanta-i service offers live streams of all Setanta's main channels (varying by market) and brings a full screen, TV-like experience to viewers around the globe available on both a free and pay basis.

Setanta partnered with Swarmcast to ensure a high quality viewing experience for its audience and to create the necessary foundation for building a profitable, scalable, and reliable Internet TV offering. Utilizing their patented Autobahn Live streaming platform, Swarmcast designed and implemented a video delivery solution for the unique needs of the Setanta-i product.

Along with Swarmcast, the Setanta-i was built in conjunction with content management partners Irdeto and interface designers EMC Conchango.
