These two series will also be available across one of the largest distribution networks in the industry, making it possible for consumers to enjoy Crackle content across online and mobile outlets that include: YouTube, Veoh, AOL, MySpace, Bebo, Verizon Wireless' V CAST Video service, Sprint TV and direct to Sony BRAVIA TVs via BRAVIA Internet Video Link, among others.
The sci-fi thriller "Cell: Full Dose" will be released in its entirety on Friday June 19th as Crackle's exclusive featured summer event.
"All-Stars"
(Wednesdays) The creators of Crackle's hit show "Owen Benjamin Presents" have teamed up again to bring their audience the new online series "All-Stars," which follows a group of co-workers who compete in an office softball league, which will air weekly beginning today. In "All Stars," a hard core softball is more than an oxymoron. When Nifty brand rubber bands compete at softball, you'll laugh while comedian Brody Stevens bitches, actor/comedian Owen Benjamin drinks and actor/comedian Chris Wylde cries. Will this year be "Team Nifty's" year to be all-stars or will they lose like they have every year?
Benjamin directed and wrote the series along with Jesse Shapiro ("Gaytown," "Owen Benjamin Presents"). Both Benjamin and Shapiro star in the series. The cast is comprised of several successful comedians and actors such as Owen Benjamin ("The House Bunny," "Heckle U," "All's Fair in Love"), Chris Wylde ("All's Fair in Love," "Heckle U"), and Brody Stevens ("The Hangover"). "All-Stars" is an Owen Benjamin, Inc. production.
"Mommy XXX"
(Thursdays) "Mommy XXX," premiering June 18, is a racy, new reality docudrama that is a unique blend of "The Girls Next Door" meets "The Osbournes." Demi Delia is a former Playboy model turned adult film star, but what fans may not know is that she also performs as head of her household - a single mom to two teenagers. Juggling her professional duties with traditional motherhood is the subject of "Mommy XXX," which takes viewers inside Demi's home, known as "the Compound," which is where porn wannabes and naive newcomers to the adult film world hang out. Episodes will expose Demi Delia's personal side: a joyous and free-wheeling birthday party attended by friends from the porn industry; her daughter's first visit to the gynecologist; a typical day at "the office;" her breast augmentation surgery; and will also reveal her children's views along the way, as they express their honest feelings about their mom and her lifestyle.
An adult film actress with over 50 adult films under her belt, Demi Delia is currently separated from her third husband, male adult-film legend Randy Spears. A star of over 2000 adult films in his own right, Spears makes an appearance in the series and maintains a "complicated" relationship with Demi and her kids. Demi's two teenage children are 14-year old daughter Brandi - a straight 'A' student -- and son Chris, an aspiring GrindCore/Crust punk rocker and animal rights activist. Steve Slome and John Ferrie created the series which is executive produced by Slome, Ferrie, Choky Lim, Justin Born, and Viet Huynh. "Mommy XXX" is produced by Teru Media.
"Cell: Full Dose"
(Friday, June 19, 2009) "Cell: Full Dose" is a 13-episode follow up to the Webby Award-winning first season of the "Cell" that documents the tribulations of Michael Spencer, a man who travels to Columbia in order to help out an old friend but gets mixed up with an underground fighting ring and the potent steroids that fuel the bloody sport. Soon, Michael's brother Josh, who is working with Interpol, shows up to try and help his brother but their fates become intertwined upon the discovery of a bigger plan for the drug. "Cell: Full Dose" is produced by Endemol UK and Pure Grass Films.
