ScandiTV will deliver programming to consumers’ TV sets via IPTV and is committed to bringing the very best in-language television entertainment to the Scandinavian community who reside in the USA and Canada. ScandiTV has secured strategic partnerships with major Scandinavian media companies and will be constantly expanding its line-up of live television channels and video on demand programming. The company will further expand its service to Latin America in the future.
The largest library of Scandinavian movies will be available to customers who will be able to watch the latest releases and timeless classics from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Most movies are subtitled in English and many have never been seen before in North America. The service’s Nordic Package comes with four free movies per month. There is also a wonderful array of programming for kids as well.
ScandiTV uses IPTV technology to bring television channels and movies to the home. IPTV is a new secure and reliable way of receiving television programming. Installing ScandiTV is easy and only requires an Internet connection and a TV to start watching the programming.
When ordered, the customer will receive a ScandiTV receiver box that can be connected to the customer’s Internet and television set. The customer does not need to subscribe to cable or satellite in order to receive ScandiTV but can switch easily to those services if they have them.
In addition to the purchase of the state-of-the-art receiver box, which is a one-time charge of $132, subscribers can choose from three separate packages. They include the 6-month Nordic package for $22 per month; the Nordic package for one year at $20 per month; and the Nordic package for 24 months at $18 per month.
