It allows for greatly reducing the bandwidth requirements of IPTV streams while keeping to the original video quality. Customized streams can be created that are optimized for delivery to set-top boxes, tablets, mobile phones, or PCs.

ReCaster server appliances offer a turn-key solution that enables optimized transmission of IPTV streams. By using the ReCaster Streaming Protocol, reliability and data rates of streaming live content in wireless networks or along lossy long distance links can be greatly improved.
