IP&TV Forum Eastern Europe & EurAsia
October 11-12, 2011
Istanbul, Turkey>
Following the success of the IP&TV Forum Eastern Europe & EurAsia in 2010, the fifth annual show will go back to Istanbul to explore the next stage of development with multiplatform services in Turkey as one the highest growth markets in the region. It will look at IP platform potential in all south-eastern European countries like Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Moldova, Armenia and other untapped markets. Russian buoyant TV markets will also be discussed as well as strategies to succeed in this fast developing industry.
Confirming Istanbul’s unique positioning to the markets in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Black Sea states and the Caucasus, it will once more become the home of the IP&TV Forum focusing on success stories in the regional markets and taking heed of the potential that OTT offers.
Battling with traditional pay TV models who offer quantity instead of quality, finding architecture that improves stability and quality of experience, developing the marketing strategy to educate the audience about the benefits of premium TV have been some of the challenges that many operators faced when introducing pure play IPTV. Developing the business model for OTTtv has been another challenge and opportunity for operators and ISPs alike.
The 2011 IP&TV Forum Eastern Europe & EurAsia will focus on these and other key challenges that service providers have been facing while staying competitive in highly saturated TV markets. This is the one show not to be missed if you are interested in entering the TV markets in East and South East Europe, and open a window of opportunities for entering far flung Euro-Asian markets.
