Celrun Co, Ltd. has announced its four year contract with MagiNet, a Singapore based hotel VoD service provider. MagiNet will launch its first-to-market MPEG-4 AVC HD VoD service in Q1-2006, using the IP set-top box supplied by Celrun.

Through the first trial and second deployment, Celrun delivered Mpeg-2, Mpeg-4 part 2 set top box to a core group of renowned hotel groups in the Asian region through MagiNet this year.

Marking a major milestone for the digital distribution of movies, Movielink, the leading broadband video-on-demand (VOD) service, announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with 20th Century Fox. This landmark deal underscores industry-wide recognition of Movielink as a leader and the arrival of broadband as a viable distribution channel for movies. With the addition of Fox's films, Movielink is the first broadband VOD service to offer titles from all major studios, including Walt Disney Studios, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Kasenna announced it has been chosen by Lincor Solutions, a specialist in the delivery and management of integrated digital on-demand entertainment and communication services for the healthcare sector, to provide its IP video streaming solutions for Lincor's MEDIVista solution. Widevine Technologies and TVN Entertainment announced TVN will use Widevine Mensor technology to watermark its entire VOD content line-up.

Widevine Mensor enables content owners, VOD service providers and operators to place digital watermarks into content at each stage of the video distribution chain. Mensor watermarks are robust and remain traceable when distributed beyond the set top box to PVRs, PCs, and mobile devices.
