Pre-registered attendees already top 1,000 for the IPTV World Forum in London

The rapid emergence of IPTV as a genuine revenue-generating new application for network operators in Europe and beyond, is helping to fuel record levels of interest and attendance in this year's IPTV World Forum in London.

With over one month to go, 1,000 people have pre-registered for the show, which is being held at Olympia between 5 and 7 March 2007.

In addition, over 100 exhibitors have already signed up to attend the event, which will also include leading content players and broadcasters, as well as an IPTV showcase area, featuring service demonstrations from 25 leading worldwide IPTV deployments. The Forum will run in parallel with The Connected Home and TV Over Nett conferences.

Exhibitors include Ericsson, IBM, Microsoft, Nortel and Siemens, with talks from leading industry figures such as Eric Abensur, VP Broadband, Orange UK; Jean-Charles De Keyser, Chairman, Belgacom Skynet; Mary Turner, CEO, Tiscali; Paul Berriman, Head of Strategic Market Development, PCCW; Ashley Highfield, Director of Future Media & Technology, BBC; Paolo Agostinelli, Head of Media & TV, Fastweb; Marc Schroeder, Senior VP, T-Home Deutsche Telekom; Chris Coles, President/CEO, Myrio - A Siemens Company; and Jeff Weber, VP Product & Strategy, AT&T.
