Aniboom Expands Its Audience on Five Online Video Platforms
Aniboom
has grown its network of branded internet channels through partnerships with five key online video platforms, bringing its animations and cartoons to an online audience of more than 140 million viewers. Aniboom content is now available online via Dailymotion, Metacafe, Veoh Networks, blip.TV and blinkx. The expansion of Aniboom’s online network follows the company’s massive success with the Aniboom-branded channel on YouTube, which has garnered more than 15 million views in its first eight months. The newly-increased online reach of Aniboom content is a boon for the company’s community of independent creators across the globe, who will see an enormous boost in the exposure given to their animations, the buzz they build for their careers and the revenues they share with the animation network.
The Aniboom-branded channel on YouTube has proven to be highly successful for the animation company. The channel debuted at the end of July 2007 and is now receiving approximately two million views per month for its library of 185 animations, with Aniboom shorts receiving scores of four out of five stars on average, and thousands of viewers leaving enthusiastic comments. Aniboom aims to echo the success of its branded channel on YouTube with its new partners.
Dailymotion
, a top 40 website worldwide, is the world’s largest independent video entertainment website, reaching more than 40 million unique viewers a month, and adding more than 15,000 videos every day. Through their partnership with Aniboom, Dailymotion is now bringing the best of the best indie animation gathered by Aniboom from its community of creators to its vast highly-engaged audience around the world.
Metacafe
, one of the world’s largest video entertainment sites with a reach of more than 28 million unique monthly viewers, is launching an Aniboom channel with the exclusive “Aniblog,” the first animated blog ever that features commentary on current events in the news on a weekly basis. Metacafe’s Aniboom channel offers viewers animations and cartoons spanning a variety of genres and styles, while offering independent video creators more opportunities by giving them direct access to Aniboom contests, programs and business opportunities.
Veoh Networks
is the world’s most comprehensive Internet television service, offering popular network Television series, independent professional productions and popular online videos from across the Web. Veoh reaches more than 28 million unique monthly viewers through Veoh.com, one of the fastest-growing online video sites and VeohTV, the company’s free downloadable application that enables a full-screen, remote-controllable Web TV experience. Veoh’s partnership with Aniboom enhances its content lineup by offering viewers a constant stream of highly entertaining indie animated shorts on three new channels: Aniboom Classics, Aniboom Funny and Aniboom Edgy.
blip.TV
is an online television network featuring original, serialized Web programming, ranging from scripted sitcoms and dramas to newsmagazines. Blip.TV’s partnership with Aniboom involves the launch of two of the animation network’s flagship programs, “Aniboom Series” and “Aniboom Freestyle.”
blinkx
, the world’s largest video search engine, has indexed more than 18 million hours of audio, video, viral and TV content, and made it fully searchable and available on demand. blinkx has now made more than 200 Aniboom independent short films from animators across the world easily accessible at www.blinkx.com. Leveraging its unique AdHoc platform, blinkx will also place contextually relevant advertising against the short films.
