("Broadstream"), the industry leader in outsourced IPTV head-end and content distribution and management services, announced that Converged Communications LLC("Converged") has selected Broadstream to provide outsourced MPEG-4 IP head-end, transport and middleware services to support the launch of IPTV services to their customers over their ADSL2+ and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network in Anchorage, Alaska.

Under the terms of the comprehensive multi-year agreement, Broadstream will deliver over 200 channels of content through its satellite-based IPTVConnect ^TM service, the industry's most comprehensive IPTV video distribution platform. Subscribers will access Converged's compelling content line-up using Broadstream's Bstream™ Middleware content management platform, which will allow Converged to deliver next-generation interactive IPTV services including High-Definition TV (HDTV), Video on Demand (VOD), Internet on TV, and Digital Video Recording (DVR).
