U-verse Expands Dallas-Ft. Worth Coverage
AT&T claims that
U-verse
services are available to more than 200,000 Dallas/Ft. Worth-area households, and there are plans to continue growing availability over the coming months.
AT&T U-verse TV's unique features have led to significant interest from DFW-area consumers. AT&T U-verse offers more High Definition channels than local cable providers, the ability to record up to four programs at once using a digital video recorder, and the ability to program a DVR remotely through customers' AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet account. AT&T is the only provider in Dallas/Fort Worth to offer a 100 percent Internet Protocol based television service, making U-verse TV one of the most robust and feature-rich services available today.
The company separately announced today a promotion through June 30 that offers a year of free access to High Definition programming to qualifying new customers.
Texas was the first state where AT&T deployed U-verse services, thanks to progressive legislation passed in September 2005 by the Texas Legislature and signed by Governor Rick Perry. AT&T U-verse is also currently available to households in San Antonio and Houston.
AT&T U-verse customers can choose from five TV and three Internet packages to customize their entertainment experience. In addition to the popular U300 and U400 packages, AT&T also offers U-family, a market-leading family-friendly programming option. Current AT&T U-verse TV offers start as low as $44 a month, depending on the selected programming and Internet packages (other monthly charges apply).
In addition, now through June 30, qualified new customers can join AT&T U-verse and receive free TV service, including HBO and Cinemax, for two months when they choose the U300 or U400 programming package (other monthly charges apply). Thereafter, customers will continue to receive recurring monthly discounts when they subscribe to a bundle of U-verse TV and Internet service. In addition, AT&T offers professional installation and a 60-day money-back guarantee.

I will be getting u-verse from AT&T this Tuesday the 3rd of July. One thing I like about there TV package is on the U-300 you get movie and other channels like "Showtime,The Movie Channel,Flix,Starz and Encore". These are nice premium movie channels I do not get now. The cost is lower than I pay now also.
