FilmOn.com Announces Football Anytime Channel While FilmOn Player Scores Big in Free App Store
FilmOn.com
has created the world’s first premium linear TV soccer channel for the Internet, Football Anytime, while the free FilmOn iPad/iPod Player is still scoring big in the European iTunes Charts.
FilmOn.com has licensed content from leading football match producers like the Premiership and the Football Association, IMG and other premium content providers. Football Anytime will feature the best of Club and International football from soccer’s oldest institutions.
“This is the first deal of its type for us,” said Pitch International spokesman Dave Seckington. “As the market leader we feel FilmOn is the right partner for us to venture out into the brave new world of Internet TV distribution.”
“We are very excited about adding Football Anytime to our lineup,” said FilmOn founder and CEO Alki David. “It is only right that the beautiful game plays out on our beautiful platform, whilst our iPod/iPad App continues to score big in the European App Charts.”

- currently Number One in three countries: UK, Netherlands & Belgium.
FilmOn has recently agreed on a number of major content deals from the world of soccer, promising to bring live and post-live international soccer on the FilmOn delivery platform, streaming high quality television to mobile devices, computers, set top boxes and IP-enabled televisions.
In the past two years the market conditions for Internet-based television have grown dramatically, and analysts' predictions of Over The Top Television, including Keegan/Minerva, are being realized. FilmOn is not only positioned to be the leader in this space but to dominate a large market share over its competitors.
FilmOn Global delisted its German offering in 2009 and has returned to the market almost two years to the day offering its European Division with an initial market capitalization of 59 Million Euros. Top-tier Frankfurt market specialist 886AG (886AG-Specialist) is handling FilmOn.com PLC stock.
FilmOn Founder and CEO Alki David, who is listed as the 45th richest man in the UK by the Times Rich List, stated in a keynote speech at the recent Credit Suisse Cable TV Conference in London, "Our Apple App is still topping the charts in Europe and as we conclude deals with more U.S. networks we expect our app's power to grow a deeper reach into the U.S. virtual cable TV space.”
Other exciting FilmOn Players include the Free FilmOn HDi player with DVR functionality and super high quality streaming at low bit rates. Available at Cnet.com.
