IneoQuest Selected for Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Ecosystem
IneoQuest
has been selected as a member of the Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV partner ecosystem to supply advanced quality and service assurance solutions. The collaboration will ensure service providers using the Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV and multimedia software platform can meet subscriber video quality expectations.
Delivering advanced video quality and service assurance systems to hundreds of customers worldwide, IneoQuest's solutions provide a unique multi-dimensional view of the video service quality from the headend to the customer premise, improving subscriber satisfaction while reducing operational expenses. Realizing the critical role that quality and service assurance solutions play in the delivery of IPTV services, Microsoft has established a formal relationship with IneoQuest to deliver best-in-class QoS solutions for service providers using Microsoft Mediaroom.
IneoQuest offers a broad portfolio of hardware and software solutions for testing all phases of IPTV deployments, from R&D in the network lab reducing costs and risks associated with unexpected post-deployment issues, to complete end-to-end monitoring and troubleshooting of thousands of live simultaneous video flows across wide geographic deployments.
IneoQuest provides specific measurement tools for Microsoft Mediaroom including:
IneoQuest's IQPinPoint -- a comprehensive, business driven, multi- faceted system designed to improve the service provider's ability to reduce video defects and OPEX costs while increasing profits and improving customer satisfaction. IQPinPoint enables auditing, monitoring, and analysis of thousands of video programs simultaneously and continuously across all network sub-systems from headend to the home, enabling a real- time, multidimensional view of network quality.
iVMS Video Management System -- comprised of a comprehensive headend-to-customer premise architecture that enables performance tracking and trending tools. Integrated with IneoQuest hardware probes and analyzers, the iVMS offers the most efficient monitoring and debugging solutions for IPTV networks.
Cricket family of probes -- offers the most powerful, cost- effective remote video quality monitors and service assurance troubleshooting tools available. Cricket provides a full range of interfaces, including Ethernet, QAM, ASI and 8-VSB for Video network operators who need to analyze, debug and resolve video quality and MPEG errors.
Singulus G1-T and Singulus G10 products -- multi-functional platforms for monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, test and measurement of IPTV networks. The Singulus G1-T offers 10/100/1000 Mb connectivity while the G10 provides 10 GigE connectivity. Both units provide either network traffic generation (Stimulus) or monitoring and analysis.
Geminus family of products -- include the Geminus G1-T, G2X and G10 platforms and are advanced video quality monitoring, analysis, and test systems for digital video networks. The Geminus family offers the ultimate in scalability with true line-rate performance from 1 GigE and up to 20 GigE configurations. Like all IneoQuest probes, Geminus platforms are multi- functional and reconfigurable, and they can be updated in the field to keep pace with changing market demands, virtually eliminating product obsolescence.
