All Access Technologies Selects Eagle and GlobeCast for IPTV Delivery in Florida, Texas and Nevada
Eagle Broadband, Inc., a leading provider of broadband, Internet protocol (IP) and communications technology and services, and GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom and the world's leading satellite services provider, announced today that All Access Technologies has selected the companies' IPTVComplete
TM
video solution to deliver advanced video and entertainment services to residential subscribers in Florida, Texas and Nevada.
"We chose IPTVComplete because it's the only end-to-end video solution that provides us a one-stop shop for the content, transport, distribution and video infrastructure we need to quickly deliver a highly competitive video service and grow our revenues," explained David Suarez, president of All Access Technologies. "Our goal is to make our advanced, fiber-based broadband services available to more than 40,000 subscribers in a number of high-growth markets including south Florida, Dallas and Las Vegas. By providing everything we need to deliver a high-quality video offering including Eagle's MediaPro set-top boxes, Eagle and GlobeCast are simplifying our deployment, lowering our costs and allowing us to focus on expanding our network and growing our business."
All Access Technologies is a multi-service broadband provider that designs, builds and operates private Fiber-to-the-User (FTTU) networks that deliver advanced voice over IP, high-speed data, security and other integrated services to high-end multiple-dwelling units (MDUs) and master planned communities. The company will utilize Eagle/GlobeCast's IPTVComplete to add video and entertainment to its unique, integrated bundle of residential services initially in south Florida, with network expansions in Texas and Nevada. All Access will offer a full range of basic, premium and high-definition programming, video-on-demand and pay-per-view services delivered over their state-of-the-art, fiber broadband network. IPTVComplete lowers the costs and simplifies the design, launch, operational and support requirements needed to deliver a high-quality video service offering.
"The ability to quickly add high-quality video to their services bundles has become critical to the success of incumbent and new broadband service providers," said David Micek, president and CEO of Eagle Broadband. "All Access' selection of IPTVComplete to deliver their video services further demonstrates how service providers can benefit from faster, lower-cost video deployments that help them quickly generate new revenue streams, retain existing customers and attract new subscribers."
IPTVComplete provides a unique combination of video content, headend infrastructure, satellite distribution and set-top boxes to offer a more profitable services deployment model. The solution reduces the time, effort and costs for new and incumbent broadband providers looking to offer high-quality entertainment services over their fiber or DSL broadband networks. Eagle Broadband's video content, expertise delivering video services and IP set-top boxes, along with GlobeCast's superior satellite distribution capabilities, provide everything All Access Technologies needs to deliver a robust bundle of video and interactive entertainment services.
