Entone and Nordija announce the availability of Nordija's fokusOn widget-based middleware on Entone's family of Hybrid TV devices and digital video recorders. This fully integrated solution offers service operators a more efficient and cost-effective solution that can be quickly and easily deployed for delivering advanced Hybrid TV and over-the-top services.

Entone's Hybrid TV solution supports IP video delivery and traditional terrestrial, cable and satellite broadcast video delivery. The product line includes:

• Amulet - a full-featured hybrid DVR with advanced networking options such as Wi-Fi and HomePNA

Nordija's fokusOn middleware unites the popularity of linear television with the breadth of the Internet. The intuitive fokusOn program guide makes it easy to instantly search, record and enjoy popular TV programs. Video on demand and network PVR are fully supported. With fokusOn, viewers can watch YouTube, update Facebook and receive Twitter tweets on their TV. Subscribers can email, share photos via Flickr and follow RSS feeds from the comfort of their living room.
