LEIGHTRONIX have executed a unique agreement under which LEIGHTRONIX will integrate the full line of Aurora Networks’ “GoBackTV by Aurora” line of digital products under the LEIGHTRONIX LuxeVision trade name.

LuxeVision provides a robust suite of digital video, audio, and control technologies combined to create a full featured and high-quality interactive television experience. Expanding on standard Internet protocol based systems widely known as IPTV, LuxeVision integrates encoding, scheduled playback, transcoding, delivery, and decoding functions. The result is an end-to-end solution that delivers live television, time-shifting, and video-on-demand services over DSL/PON, cable, or Ethernet.

GoBackTV by Aurora is a suite of headend/central office equipment designed to support digital stream-based broadcast, multicast, and unicast interactive television services. The platform enables broadband service operators to go beyond ordinary digital television and VOD, and offer next generation, personalized television services. One key service is time shifting: viewers can pause and rewind live TV, or even jump back to the beginning of a show with the click of a button. Other functionalities include network-based recording, channel customization, and playlist creation.
