Streaming Media East Conference to Give Attendees Access to More Than Two Dozen Broadband Enabled Devices and Content Platforms
StreamingMedia.com
announced that this year's
Streaming Media East Exhibition and Conference
will feature a special "Broadband Device Pavilion" on the show floor. Attendees will be able to get hands-on with more than two dozen of today's leading streaming devices, tablets and connected Blu-ray players, and experience content platforms in action from Netflix, Hulu, Apple, VUDU, Microsoft, Sony, Blockbuster, Amazon, Google TV, MLB.TV, ESPN, HBO and others, all at no charge.
"Our Device Pavilion is the ultimate over-the-top video experience, and will provide the largest collection of broadband-enabled devices in one room that people can walk right up to and experience hands-on," said Dan Rayburn, Conference Chairman & Executive Vice President, StreamingMedia.com. "We will staff the Pavilion full-time with people proficient in how the devices and platforms work, allowing attendees to see for themselves the quality and performance of each as they switch between devices."
Rayburn noted that, in addition to experiencing the devices and platforms, attendees will have the chance to win many of the devices via drawings throughout the show as well as free subscriptions and credits to Netflix, VUDU, MLB.TV, Amazon and other content platforms.
