mPhase Technologies, Inc. said it intends to communicate more frequently with investors as a way to enhance understanding of the company's three strategic areas -- IPTV, smart sensors, and nanobatteries.

mPhase is initiating a communication plan that will elaborate on the segments of our technology investments. Management is committed to raising shareholder value and monetizing the investments made in our three strategic areas -- IPTV, smart sensors and nanobatteries.

IPTV:
Content delivery is undergoing a revolution. As evidenced by Microsoft and Google's entry into the marketplace, TV is expanding past the traditional "push" model with limited viewer choice, to a "pull" model that allows subscribers to use sophisticated search functions to find video content. Subscribers want to view content when, how, and where they want in the format they choose -- with a full range of control. Our strength in this area is unparalleled; the mPhase TV+ software offers a highly differentiated solution meeting today's requirements for open systems, flexibility, and responsiveness to rapidly changing market dynamics. Pending successful conclusion of negotiations with several carriers for trial systems designed to validate field performance of our IPTV platform, we believe the market will better reflect the value of our common stock. Smart sensors: Our prototype magnetometer is starting to create the kind of buzz typical of disruptive technologies, with potential applications ranging from defense, to homeland security, oil pipelines and mobile phones. In the lab, we have shown that we can detect the presence of a simulated weapon from 30 feet away. In a matter of weeks we're planning a real world test to gauge its sensitivity further. Moreover, by adding compass-like capabilities, we can have a mass consumer market solution that mobile phone makers could tap for a host of direction-sensing services offered by mobile operators. Nano-Scale Energy Storage: Hailed as "the reinvention of the battery," the mPhase nanobattery was the subject of a feature article in Scientific American reporting significant strides we are pioneering in energy storage. These nanobatteries have utility in smart cards and radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, among a variety of applications.
