Broadstream Communications, Inc. announced that Emergica Broadband Media Corp. has selected Broadstream to provide outsourced head-end, transport and middleware services to support the launch of IPTV services to their ADSL and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) communities in northern Colorado.

Under the terms of the comprehensive, multi-year agreement, Broadstream will deliver over 200 channels of content through its satellite-based IPTVConnect^TM service, the industry's first and most comprehensive IPTV content distribution platform. Subscribers will access Emergica's compelling content line-up using Broadstream's Bstream^TM content management platform, which will allow Emergica to deliver next-generation interactive IPTV services, High-Definition TV (HDTV), Video on Demand (VOD), Internet on TV, and Digital Video Recording (DVR).
