i2Telecom Launches i2TV Streaming Video VoIP Service
i2Telecom International, Inc., a pioneer in globally ultra-portable high quality Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) products and services, announced the introduction of i2TV, a high quality streaming Video & Voice over Internet Protocol (VVoIP) broadband service. i2TV is immediately available for free viewing during the trial period at

i2TV delivers a wide range of major network programming to computer desktops including live CNN News, TBS, TNT, TBN, USA Network, and dozens of other popular network shows such as sitcoms Sex in the City, Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld and Monk, as part of its basic service. i2TV is packaged with Microsoft Windows MediaPlayer10(TM) and is compatible with all Windows XP(TM) systems. Additional major networks such as ESPN and ESPN2, Showtime, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, CMT, SpikeTV, TVLand, Black Entertainment Network and E! Television are available on an additional subscription basis at a low monthly cost. A basic subscription to i2TV will be priced at $12.99 a month when the initial trial period ends.
"i2TV is an example of i2 Telecom's advanced VoIP services that enable Voice and Video over Internet, Instant Messaging Chat, Fax over Internet, Multiple Party Conference Calling over Internet, Cellular Bridge global cellular calling over Internet and Voicemail over Internet," stated Paul Arena, Chief Executive Officer of i2 Telecom International, Inc. "i2TV's service delivers major U.S. network television broadcasts globally across the internet at a monthly subscription price that is substantially less than standard cable TV service rates."
Potential users of i2TV include U.S. military personnel stationed overseas, American expatriates, office workers on lunch breaks, families in rural areas that have broadband ISP service no quality local TV broadcast signals or cable TV service, or anyone who wishes to drop their high-cost cable or satellite TV service for a much lower-cost alternative.
i2Tv IPTv service is provided through the
VisioNET Television Network
, Inc. VisioNET's primary broadcast centers are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles, California. VisioNET licenses both foreign and domestic content from a variety of networks sources for rebroadcast over IP networks. The Company's proprietary software is an end-to-end solution for the secure delivery and management of digital video entertainment to the TV, STB, PC, and selected mobile devices. VisioNET's delivery platform conforms to Microsoft's Digital Rights Management specification and the company's own proprietary security library. Together, both software systems ensure complete protection for the delivery of digital entertainment while maintaining a customer-friendly environment.
