Stratacache today announced OmniCast for STB, a new software solution that facilitates delivery of set-top box (STB) software updates, digital rights management (DRM) upgrades, channel guides, advertising, middleware, and operating system updates. This product allows satellite, telco, cable, and wireless IPTV service providers to deliver software updates to residential STBs with higher efficiency and lower costs than ever before.
